Sotiris Ntouvas was born in 1982 and raised in Patras. He started playing the drums at the age of 16 and graduated the Patra’s municipality Conservatory.

Later he moved to Rotterdam and continued his studies at Codarts University of Arts where he graduated in 2007. Among his teachers were Ηans van Oosterhout and Ruben van Rompaey. He has attended workshops by Steve Clover, Jeff Ballard, Ed Soph and Kiko Freitas and has collaborated with artists such as Eric Vloeimans, Jasper Blom, Ed Verhoeff, John Ruocco, Angelo Verploegen and more.

In Greece he has a long time collaboration with Thanasis Papakonstantinou and Foivos Delivorias. Also he has performed with many greek jazz groups at venues and festivals in Greece and abroad. He teaches drums at conservatories and music schools.
