
Konstantinos Stouraitis was born in Rhodes, Greece and started playing the guitar at a young age. He started his professional career with George Kontrafouris Baby Trio in 2012, with whom he has performed extensively and recorded the album Urban Jazz (Puzzlemusik, 2012). He holds a Master of Music in Jazz Studies from Queens College, The City University of New York and a Bachelor degree from the Ionian University of Corfu. He has studied with some of the most notable jazz musicians such as Peter Bernstein, Paul Bollenback, Bobby Broom, Antonio Hart etc. Konstantinos has performed or recorded with George Kontrafouris, Alkinoos Ioannidis, MC Yinka to name a few as well as international artists such as Frank Lacy, Mike Clark, David Wong, Winard Harper, Emmet Cohen and others. He has released two albums as a leader, Mr K (2020) and Red Room (2024). Konstantinos Stouraitis was awarded the Fulbright Foundation scholarship in 2016.
