
Stefanos Andreadis was born in Athens. He studied guitar, harmony, counterpoint, fugue, jazz improvisation, Byzantine theory and finally took a diploma in composition at the Conservatoire of Piraeus. He also studied in Nottingham with Dr. Nicholas Sackman and was awarded with the Doctor of Musical Arts in composition in 2005.
He has performed with almost all notable musicians of the Greek jazz scene (George Kontrafouris, Dimos Dimitriadis, Vasilis Rakopoulos, Alexandros Ktistakis, Dimitris Kalantzis, Yorgos Georgiadis and many more) and some famous international artists such as Armen Donelian, Karlheinz ‘Charlie’ Miklin and Christi Doran.
As a jazz guitarist, Stefanos Andreadis has been involved in many concerts and festivals and also, he has made recordings for radio and television programs. Many of his compositions have been performed in Greece and abroad.
He regularly performs with the group Flying Jazz with which he recorded his debut album “Stefanos Andreadis Flying Jazz” in 2013.
Since 2007 he is a member of the teaching Jazz Music Department of the Ionian University and also a member of the Greek Composers Union.
